Music, Community, and Youth Impact
OakChella has become one of MY Club’s signature community events, bringing people together through music, creativity, and a shared commitment to supporting local youth.
Started in 2024, each year OakChella showcases local and regional musicians, artists, and vendors, creating a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere that welcomes all ages. More than a music festival, the event provides a space where families gather, youth experience live performances, and community members connect through the arts.
A defining feature of OakChella is its free Kid Zone, intentionally designed to ensure that every child can fully participate in the experience. From bounce houses and large-group games like 9 Square, to hands-on music experiences with real electric guitars and drums, the Kid Zone invites children to explore, create, and make music of their own in a safe and supervised environment.
None of this would be possible without the support of local musicians, sponsors, volunteers, and families who come together each year to make OakChella a success.
